How to create a Facebook Business Page?

There are mainly two ways to create your first page, either you can visit or you can follow below steps to create page from your personal Facebook account.

First of all, you need to open in your preferred web browser. This will open your Facebook News Feed if you’re logged in. If you aren’t logged in, enter your email address (or phone number) and password in the top-right side of the page.

1. Once you’re logged in, click on Drop Down Symbol in the top-right side of the Facebook page. Doing so prompts a drop-down menu and click on Create Page

2. Now you have to select a page type or categories. Choose one of the following boxes, in this article I will select Page type as Local Business or Place ➖ you can select this option, if you have a small business, locally-owned, blogs, or not part of a chain or company.

3. Once you’ve selected type, click on it and enter your business information. You need to enter your business name, category (e.g., grocery shop, coffee shop, restaurant), shop location or address, phone number and click on Get Started

4. Now you’ll be redirected to your new page, once you get there, you need to add profile picture & cover photo. Click the Camera icon in the lower-right corner of the profile picture box, then click on Upload option in the drop-down menu and select a photo.

Now, Click on Add a Cover in the top-left corner of the cover photo window at the top of the page, then click an upload option in the drop-down menu and select a photo. This both picture will make your business page more attractive, professional and make the page seem more complete.

5. Click the About tab It’s on the left side of the page and add information about your page, such as., short description, contact details, page contributors, etc.

There are five types of information on this page:

Covers information such as your business’ name, category, and your page’s username.
Your business’ start date and mission go here.
Ways of contacting your business—such as the phone number, email address, and website—go here.
Covers various information like products, a menu (if applicable), your page’s “About” blurb, and so on.
Your business’ story—how it was created, what it stands for, and what you hope to accomplish with it—goes here. This personalizes your business and makes it more approachable by potential customers.

6. Now you’re all done! Your business page is now set up and ready to go.
